Incema’s Father and Son Program Creates Lasting Bonds at SOS Children’s Village

Incema, a leading organization dedicated to fostering family relationships, hosted a transformative Father and Son Program at SOS Children’s Village In Pietermaritzburg, bringing together fathers and sons for the whole day of adventure, learning, and bonding.

The program, held on 26 June 2021, aimed to provide a unique opportunity for fathers and sons to strengthen their relationships through shared experiences in the great outdoors. Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of SOS, participants were immersed in a series of activities designed to create lasting memories and deepen their connection.

Highlights of the Program Includes:

  • Workshops & Seminars: Insightful workshops led by expert facilitators provided valuable tools and strategies for effective communication, understanding, and parenting. Topics ranged from fostering emotional intelligence to building resilience and empathy.
  • Bonding Activities: From friendly sports competitions to interactive games and crafts, participants enjoyed a variety of activities that encouraged laughter, camaraderie, and moments of shared joy

Boyservation Launch

Incema’s Boyservation seeks to provide young boys with a platform to learn, grow and thrive in a supportive environment. through mentorship programs, educational workshops and community outreach efforts, the initiative aims to equip young boys with skills they need to succeed in life.

The launch was attended by dignitaries, community leaders and supporters of the initiative who all expressed excitement and support for the program.”This is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at empowering and uplifting uplifting young boys in our community” said Thabiso Ngcobo who is one of the mentors in the boyservation program. Nhlanhla Mthembu from Nikithemba said, ” The launch of the program marks a significant step forward in Incema’s commitment to support the growth and and development of our youth. With the support of our community and partners, we believe that we can make a real difference in the lives of these young boys and help them reach their potential”. Said Mrs Ngcobo who is the director and founder of Incema NPO.
